New York, USA. Join Si in Union Square in front of the world famous George Washington statue as he waxes lyrical about life on the road with The Fall and Mark E Smith!

Mark and Simon get the coolest invitation of the decade! As it happens, Si and Mark were both big fans of Barry White and his Love Unlimited Orchestra.

It turns out that, whilst they were in NY, the legendary Barry White was turning 50 and was throwing the most exquisite birthday party, to suit a man of his stature!

So, New York baby, on Broadway in a private function room packed with celebrities… Barry White serenading the ladies on his signature white concert grand piano … when, all of a sudden, Mark meets an old friend from back home in the North.
