- Chloe, Emily, Sophie, Jessica and Megan named best behaved girls in 2016
- Laura, Eleanor, Daisy, Anna and Ruby have a month to improve their behaviour
- Jack, Daniel, Joshua, Harry and James are the names of the best behaved boys
- Adam, Joseph, Charlie, Callum and Ben need to be good all December
Chloe and Jack are the names most likely to be at the top of Santa’s ‘nice list’ this Christmas. Research by School Stickers, leading provider of school rewards, has revealed that children with these names are the most likely to be well behaved.
Boys called Adam, and girls called Laura, are more likely to be at the top of Santa’s naughty list, however there is still time for them to improve their behaviour before Christmas.
The annual study revealed that boys called Jack, Daniel, Joshua, Harry and James are the most likely to receive School Sticker’s rewards (for good behaviour in the classroom), but boys called Adam, Joseph, Charlie, Callum and Ben, received the least number of rewards.
Mums and dads are more likely to have an easier time if they have a daughter called Chloe, Emily, Sophie, Jessica and Megan, all names at the top of the School Stickers reward ‘league’. But if their little girl is named Laura, Eleanor, Daisy, Anna and Ruby, they could have trouble on their hands!
School Stickers supplies more than 10,000 schools with stickers, postcards and certificates which teachers give pupils for good behaviour and achievement. To enable teachers, pupils and parents to track the rewards given, some schools give out coded rewards which pupils log online at www.MyStickers.co.uk, and others give out virtual rewards which are automatically recorded. Last school year, 59,000 students received over 1.1 million rewards. Analysis on the data reveals which names were awarded the most stickers – the nicest – and which were awarded the least – the naughtiest!
Neil Hodges, Managing Director, School Stickers said, “Our annual ‘Santa’s Naughty and Nice list’ is just a bit of Christmas fun and not to be taken seriously. There are many Adam’s and Laura’s that are wonderfully well behaved, and plenty of Chloe’s and Jack’s that are hardly little angels. We issue the list every year as many people find it amusing and like to see whether their name is on there. However all schools reward differently, with some giving out hundreds, and some thousands of rewards, so there is about as much accuracy to this as if Rudolf had written it. School Stickers is trusted by thousands of schools to reward pupils for good behaviour and achievement. We’re proud that our products motivate and inspire young people, whatever their names!”
